Cedropalooza Super-D Course Description

Super-D Course

  • The Super-D (~ 2.3 miles - see map below) will flow like this....
  • Start at the Cedro Lookout/Radio Tower
  • Descend the loose rocky Lookout tower singletrack
  • Weave and bob your way down the Upper Gulley Trail
  • Go BIG RING on the Cedro Ridge 2 track
  • Corner and accelerate the Briggidy Briggs singletrack
  • Finish with finesse on the lower gulley trail
  • Sprint uphill to the finish...or until you puke!
  • This race will handle the full spectrum of bikes (downhill to hardtail)...and something right in the middle will be great.

Pro/Expert Course

  • Pro/Expert course (~23 miles - see map below) will flow like this....
  • Cedro Singletrack
  • Briggidy Briggs trail
  • Climb up to Cedro Peak on the service road
  • Descend the 'Cedro Tower Trail' - loose rock technical descent
  • 'Gulley Trails' - tight woods trails that flow like the water does
  • Then do the Entire Sport loop

Sport Course

  • Sport/SS Loop: (~19 mile rolling loop with most of the climbing in the second half)
    See map below with Blue marking
  • 'Cedro Singletrack' - fun flowing singeltrack with some technical descents and rocky climbs
  • 'Lone Pine' - find your rhythmn and let it rip!
  • Lower Arroyo Trail
  • 'Ranch House ruins' - rocky climb up past the old ranch house
  • Meadow two track - gradual climb up a 4 wheel drive road
  • 'Mighty Mule' - super fun rolling singletrack in the pinon's w/ speedy descents!
  • 'Chamisoso Canyon' - technical rocky descent (be careful here and remember there is no-shame in walking some of these sections), then very smooth and fast in the bottom of the canyon.
  • H2O: will be available on the dump road at the bottom of Chamisoso
  • 'Coyote' - fun singletrack with power climbs and descents
  • '5 Hills of Death' - rocky climbs, keep your balance and see how high you can get your heart rate!
  • Finish on the 'Briggidy Briggs' trail

Beginner Course

  • Beginner Loop: (~11 miles loop, the first half is rolling singletrack and descending, then you have to climb back up to finish)
  • 'Cedro Singletrack' - fun flowing singeltrack with some technical descents and rocky climbs
  • 'Lone Pine' - find your rhythmn and let it rip!
