The inaugural season of Mountain Top Cycling ended as a total success. Thanks to the handwork and dedication of the team
and the incredible support of our sponsors we were able to put together an impressive list of podiums, as well as successfully
host the NORBA State Championships. Three of our riders; Damian Calvert, Jason Quenzler, and Rich Walters won the New Mexico
Off Road Series in their respective categories; while Jay English, Santiago Chavez, and Ann Marie Baily were runner-ups.
Many of MTCs riders had career years on the mountain bike, Jason won his third State Championship and won the NOVA National,
Damian was undefeated in New Mexico and became the only New Mexico pro to ever win the Road Apple Rally. Mountain Top made
a huge splash on the road with with Damian winning three road races (including the state championships) and locking up a second
in the series. Next year we plan to up this years triumphs by stringing together more victories and promoting cycling in
the community.
